Microneedling Skin Care

Micro-Needling  with a Derma Roller

Microneedling with the aid of dermaroller is a relatively new way of treating your skin and getting rid of acne, scars, stretch marks, wrinkles and making your skin flawless. It’s the latest treatment for making your skin get the best glow ever.

What is a Dermaroller?

A dermaroller is an instrument that is shaped like a drum and has approximately 192 micro needles. These needles are in neat rows of 8, with the length of 0.5 or 1mm and diameter of 0.1 mm. Reactive ions are used in the manufacture of dermarollers needles. Dermarollers are for single uses only.

How to use a Dermaroller?

The dermaroller is used to pierce the upper layer of the skin and poke holes. This procedure doesn’t do any damage to the epidermis. These poking and holes will encourage the growth and enhancement of natural collagen as well as elastin. Moreover, new capillaries start to form, which helps in the treatment of acne scars and wrinkle. The dermaroller micro-needling is also used in photo-ageing.

Side Effects and Post Care:

There aren’t many side effects of micro-needling with dermaroller, just “erythema” that may last for a couple of days.
