Microneedling Skin Care

What is Microneedling

Micro-needling is a conventional process that has been around for ages. It recent for its way back in to the lime light. It involves puncturing your skin a hundred or more times with needles.

What does it do?

Micro-needling treats all kinds of skin problems, such as, deep acne scars, stretch marks as well as wrinkles and pigmentation marks. The results, claimed by experts, are excellent.

How does it work?

Micro-needling procedure involves an equipment called a “derma pen” that has tiny needles sticking out of it. with the help of this the expert will poke holes in the top layer of the skin. These holes create a channel that is known as “Micro channel”. This channel enables the effective serums to deeply penetrate the skin and work wonders.
The skin takes these tiny holes as minor injuries and start healing itself with collagen and elastin, simultaneously healing the problematic areas like acne scars, pigmentation and such as well.

How is it done?

A numbing cream is applied, then the dermatologist starts poking holes with the micro needling tool. The process takes around 30 minutes. The process has been reported to be painless. To build a significant amount of collagen and elastin, more than one session is required.
